OIDIS earrings are stackable, giving you the freedom of wearing them in many different ways. You will love them if you are looking for large but not showy jewels.

Each earring is made up of two parts, which can be combined.

The base is a light and bright oval that you to use alone or to which you can add a long thin bar, simply by slipping it onto the post, between the earring and the earlobe.

They are made of recycled silver and have hammered, irregular shapes.

You can combine them in different ways:

  • Use only the base ovals 
  • udd the two bars as well 
  • or use a base on one side and the complete combination on the other. 

Whichever option you choose to use, remember that they are handcrafted with great care in our workshop and - like all artisan jewellery - every pair has its own small differences that make it unique.

 

And now, let's tell you something that you will find in all the descriptions here: our jewels are designed to last, and it is their character, somehow rough and elegant, that makes them suitable for different situations. We are convinced that it is worth buying less but better, and we create our jewellery keeping this in mind.

Crafted by the Maltese shores, with the heart in the Italian mountains 

JAD is the creation of Gioia and Ivano, based between Malta and Italy.

Gioia, a psychotherapist with a background in fine art, became a goldsmith in 2007. Ivano, a master stone setter and goldsmith, comes from a family of artists and artisans. We met in Italy, where we opened our first shared workshop in 2011.

Born in 2015 when we moved to Malta, JAD is both an artistic partnership and a small, artisanal jewelry brand nestled on the island of Gozo."
