Terms of service
Please, don't skip this part, we promise to be as clear and short as possible.
Have you ever bought something you liked and then discovered that things were different from what you expected? We did, and we didn't like it. We don't want it to happen to you here.
We want you to feel sure of what you are buying and of our conditions.
FIRST: please, read carefully the descriptions. We know that the pictures tell a lot but there might be some features which are not immediately evident but you might find important to know.
SECOND: something is not clear? We are the humans on the other side of your screen. Don't be shy, drop us a line at info@jad-jewelry.com or through our Instagram.
THIRD: we accept payments with most of the main credit cards and PayPal
FORTH: we have two different shipment options: a conventional registered mail, and a courier at a flat rate of €50 (sorry, but shipping jewellery is very expensive). You can choose which to use at the checkout
In most countries, it usually takes 3-4 days (European Countries, US, Canada and Australia) but it may take longer to reach other countries.
The permanent collections will be shipped in three working days, while the one-of-a-kind ones on the following working day.
FIFTH: Taxes and import fees. Horrible to say, you might have to pay import taxes or VAT, depending on where you live. There is good and bad news for all.
Our studio is in Malta, a European Country. If you live outside the EU you will avoid the VAT taxation but will probably pay an import tax, any Country have different rates and laws.
If you instead live in an EU Country, you will not be charged any import fee but you will have to pay the VAT, which will be added during the checkout.
SIXTH: about returns, refunds and unfortunate happenings. Please, be accurate in your choice, we are artisans selling precious, handcrafted jewellery, not international, cheap, online stores. We are not interested in grabbing your attention and offering you any kind of stuff you can try on and return. We work seriously and with passion and we trust you to contact us if there is some complaint. If you are seriously not satisfied we accept returns, as by law, provided that you contact us within 14 days of delivery and the jewel is returned in the original conditions and packaging. You will need to send it back in a trackable and secure way and we will refund you as we receive the item. Please remember that the shipping costs can't be refunded.
We can't accept returns of custom orders and custom ring size.
If your item is damaged or lost (unlikely, but it may happen), contact us and we will send you a new one.
SEVENTH: the main materials we use are sterling or pure silver, patinas and semiprecious stones. We try to use upcycled silver as much as we can. All the detail about the materials your item is made of are in the listing, as well as the cleaning instructions. Remember to protect your jewel keeping it in a safe, closed and clean place when you are not using it.
