MAQSUM - One-of-a-kind

MAQSUM is a couple of ONE-OF-A-KIND open rings with a semi-precious stone. Both of them are adjustable within a limited size range (see the measurements sizes below). Their distinctive, rugged texture is created by carefully heating only the surface of the silver, until it is almost molten. This technique produces uniquely rippled, bubbled texture.

MAQSUM 1 is a bold, wide ring, with an irregular profile that broadens at the front, where a dark blue iolite is set. It fits sizes 10.5-11.75 and is a ideal for wearing on a thumb or middle finger. 

MAQSUM 2 features a wide band that taper at the front towards a light green tourmaline. It fits sizes 9-10.25

"Maqsum" is the Maltese word for "divided" also used to refer to a geological fault.

They have been handcrafted with great care in our workshop.
