The Black Rust n.2 Bracelet has a beautiful, dark and irregular surface. It is made of sterling 925 silver and its deep, dark color is obtained by oxidizing the silver with a traditional, natural process. The darkness will naturally wear off on the edges with the use, living the dark in the recesses, giving it a lived look.

Its surface has an irregular, not catching, rust-like finishing. Being apparently raw and edgy is a characteristic of this bracelet which has been accurately finished to allow the best of wearability.

Black Rust n.2 is part of our L+G permanent collection which have been handmade in our artisan workshop, from the silver alloy to the very last finishing.

As every artisan work, each piece has its unique, small differences and is made with care, to last for a long time.

A full white version of the bracelet is available, the White Rust Number 2.

We only use recycled silver to reduce the environmental impact of our work and for ethical reasons. Recycled silver has exactly the same characteristics and value of mined silver but it is obtained from old jewelry or silverware. From our personal point of view, it adds value to the jewelry we make.

Our Black Rust n. 2 Bracelet comes in four different sizes. Should you wish to have a custom size, drop us a line and we will make our best to craft the right bracelet for you.

Crafted by the Maltese shores, with the heart in the Italian mountains

JAD is the creation of Gioia and Ivano, based between Malta and Italy.

Gioia, a psychotherapist with a background in fine art, became a goldsmith in 2007. Ivano, a master stone setter and goldsmith, comes from a family of artists and artisans. We met in Italy, where we opened our first shared workshop in 2011.

Born in 2015 when we moved to Malta, JAD is both an artistic partnership and a small, artisanal jewelry brand nestled on the island of Gozo."
