I'v been thinking of using very thin silver wires - mm. 0.3 or even 0.2 -for making jewelry since 2007 but somehow never find enough time to really work on it. I tried some times but the time necessary for making enough of that extra thin silver wire was too long.
Now that very thin enamelled copper and silver threads are easier to find, I have finally begun to recover all the experience of embroidery, lace, crochet and mesh techniques I learnt from the women of my family. Years of my mother's and grandmothers' works and teaching have begun to revive through a new group vibrant, bright spring of jewels.
